My first 1,000,000m rowed? Well that is blatantly a lie. I rowed for at least 2 years while at university and the amount of time that I had put on the Concept 2’s in the boat house or in the university gym, I think I easily covered that several times over.

I started rowing again (after a hiatus of almost 20 years) in January of this year. To be precise, on the 13th January. I bought my Concept 2 Model D second hand and I do feel that I have gotten my money’s worth out of it. The fact that I had rowed millions of metres before is really inconsequential. It’s about what is happening now. Those 1,000,000m are hard won. I put in a lot of time and effort to cover them. I am really pleased that I have achieved this.

The season is still not over according to Concept 2. For them it runs from May 1 through to April 30. So I still have another 4.5 months until the 2020/21 season is over. Let’s see how much further I can get.
