How many spools does one guy need?
It is quite easy for a spool to become disconnected while you are diving. Apeks, the company that make the regulators that I use, have just released a video showing you how to store your spools so that they don’t come undone, and become lost.
It’s a nice take on it. I myself do something similar but I use a double loop on the end and thread it through the p-clip twice, so far I have not lost a spool using my method. I guess it is always worth trying something new, though when I am not cave diving I keep my spools inside my bag so there is very little chance of losing them.
